Visiting Patients

Non-Smoking Facility

In accordance with Arkansas Act 134, all White River Health System owned and leased properties are tobacco free areas. Thank you for your cooperation.

Visiting Hours

We encourage family and friends to be with their loved ones while in the hospital; however, we may ask you limit your stay so that patients can rest. In areas of our hospitals where critically ill patients are being cared for visiting hours may be restricted. Nursing staff may ask visitors to leave the room when necessary for the protection of the patient. Children should always be accompanied by an adult and children under age 13 should remain on the first floor except for special circumstances.

For additional information, please check with the nurse caring for your loved one.

White River Health System facilities observe quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and during these hours, we ask visitors and staff to show sensitivity to our patients' needs for rest by being as quiet as possible in the hallways, waiting areas and patient rooms.

In order to protect the health and well-being of our patients, caregivers, and visitors please follow the isolation precaution instructions posted outside patient rooms.
